The Association of Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) is sponsoring a conference October 8th,  2015 in Liverpool, NY  for Emergency Department providers and Emergency Responders responsible for occupational exposure policy and procedure.  They have had many requests for this type of program and I think it will be very helpful to them as they sort out Ryan White vs NYS law and learn more about PEP guidelines.

Attached to the flyer below, is a pdf of the EMS laminated name tag occupational exposure information.  It measures 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches and attaches to a name tag.  The front side provides information for the EMS provider the back side for the ED.  They may print on paper to keep with them or they may order the laminated name tag.

Here are the directions on how to order the name tag cards:

The EMS (Emergency Responder) Cards can be ordered from our State Distribution Center.  Materials can be ordered via email to B0019W@health.ny.gov address until further notice.  Hard copies of the order form can be mailed to PO Box 343, Guilderland, NY 12084.  Link to order form: http://www.health.ny.gov/forms/order_forms/hiv_educational_materials.pdf
